This 10” special alloy knife (Rasspe®, a high-quality brand made in I is designed to be longer-lasting and easier to sharpen. It features a 1/4HP knife motor with permanently lubricated ball bearings and overload protection. The aluminum alloy one-piece base has a stain-resistant and easy-to-clean anodized finish. The top-mounted, removable all-metal knife sharpener with two stones ensures a razor-sharp cutting edge. The index knob control allows for precision slice thickness adjustment from 0 to 9/16″ (14mm).
For safety, it includes a permanent ring guard that protects the entire non-slicing portion of the knife, along with a removable cover and deflector. The knife cover interlock prevents the slicer from operating without the knife cover in place. Sealed splash zones add sanitation and protect the electronics. The angled gravity feed food chute and power switch secure no voltage release, preventing inadvertent reactivation of the slicer in the event of power or interlock interruption. The slicer also boasts a high-quality aluminum base, food chute, and feet.
