Local Customers

All orders are available for pick-up at our showroom in Laurel, MD.

We also provide full-service delivery (white-glove delivery) to local addresses, including the Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore areas. This service includes the removal of items from the truck, moving them into your building, and the removal of old equipment. Mechanical connections and startup are not included in this service, and any old units must be disconnected prior to removal. Please note that delivery, shipping, and other associated costs are not included in the standard price of equipment.

Online Customers

Most orders ship within 1 to 5 business days, excluding custom or special-order items. For exact lead times, please contact us directly before purchasing to guarantee delivery.

NRES ships with all major national carriers and will choose the most cost-effective and efficient delivery method based on your order. If there are unexpected delays in processing or shipping, customers will be notified via email. For orders containing multiple items, deliveries may arrive separately. Shipping costs are not included in listed product prices.

Changing Your Shipping Address

If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately. Once an order has shipped, fees associated with address changes will apply and must be paid before the change can be processed. The cost will vary depending on the shipping method and number of shipments. If the order has already left our warehouse, delivery to the new address cannot be guaranteed.

If a carrier is unable to deliver your shipment after multiple attempts, the order will be returned to us and treated as a standard return.

Lead Times

Shipping lead times typically range between 3 to 15 business days, depending on your location. These are estimates and not guarantees.

Important Delivery Information

Deliveries are made by national carriers and are legally required to be delivered to a loading dock. If you do not have a dock, you will need to assist in unloading heavy items. Please ensure someone is available to receive the shipment.

  • If you need a 24-hour delivery notice, please inform us at the time of purchase.
  • For heavy or oversized items, pre-measure your doorways to ensure the item fits.
  • If the truck must return due to delivery complications, additional storage or re-delivery fees may apply.

Lift-Gate Delivery

For customers without a loading dock, lift-gate delivery lowers items from the truck to the ground. If required, please notify us during purchase so we can arrange it for an additional cost. Lift-gate delivery is curbside only, and the purchaser is responsible for moving items indoors. For assistance moving items inside, consider our Inside Delivery service.

Inside Delivery

Inside Delivery moves your equipment into your building, provided it is on the ground floor with no staircases. This service is available at an additional cost and must be requested at the time of purchase. For larger or complex deliveries, please contact us to confirm your needs.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping is available for certain orders at an additional charge. Expedited orders are processed within 12 business hours. However, delays caused by the manufacturer or freight carrier are beyond our control.

Urgent Note

Do not sign for or accept any package without opening it and inspecting for damage. Always note “POTENTIAL HIDDEN DAMAGE” on the delivery receipt unless you are certain the item is in perfect condition. Otherwise, freight companies may deny claims for concealed damage.

If damage is visible:

  1. Refuse the item or note the damage on the bill of lading.

Warranty Guide

Items sold on our website typically do not include manufacturer warranties. For repairs or service, customers should contact local commercial equipment service providers.

If equipment does not function properly, please contact us with the model and serial number, proof of purchase, installation date, and details about the defect. NRES will submit this information to the manufacturer or a local authorized service agent. Further warranty claims must be resolved between the customer and the manufacturer.

Parts & Labor Warranty

Manufacturer warranties cover defects in material or workmanship for specified periods (ranging from 30 days to 5 years, depending on the product). Labor warranties cover standard labor charges during normal business hours, as determined by the manufacturer.

Not Covered by Warranty

  • Wear and tear (e.g., door gaskets, light bulbs).
  • Improper installation or lack of maintenance (e.g., cleaning condenser coils).
  • Food or product spoilage claims due to equipment failure.

Compressor Warranty

Extended compressor warranties apply only to the sealed components of the compressor. This excludes parts like the cabinet, electrical components, refrigerants, and other non-sealed components.

Residential Applications

Most commercial equipment warranties are void when installed in residential settings.
