Physical Store Purchases

All in-store returns are covered by our On-Site Guarantee, allowing customers to fully inspect new and used equipment prior to purchase.

  • No Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges: Clearance, used, scratch-and-dent, floor models, specials, and other specified items purchased from our Laurel, MD showroom are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Warranties: New in-box items are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Clearance, overstock, used, scratch-and-dent items are not covered under warranty unless a separate warranty is purchased through NRES (for local customers only).

NRESonline.com Purchases

  • No Returns: Clearance/overstock, furniture, perishables, like-new, or used equipment are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Returns on New, In-Box Equipment: All returns require prior approval from NRESonline.com. No returns or credits will be processed without written Return Authorization from NRESonline.com.

Return Terms & Fees

  • Restocking Fee: A minimum 30% restocking fee applies to all returns and will be deducted from the refund.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees, which will also be deducted from the refund.
  • Condition of Returns: Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and in resale condition. Opened or tampered items will void the return or increase the restocking fee at NRESonline.com’s discretion.

Return Authorization Process

  1. Request Authorization:
    Contact us at +1 (301) 776-7676 or email sales@nresonline.com within 30 days of delivery to request a Return Authorization.
  2. Approval:
    NRESonline.com will review your request and determine if the item qualifies for a return. If approved, a written Return Authorization will be sent via email or mail.
  3. Unauthorized Returns:
    Any items returned without authorization will not be processed, and customers will need to cover shipping costs to retrieve their items.

Shipping & Restocking Fees

  • Commercial Address Returns: A minimum 30% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund for returns from commercial locations.
  • Residential Address Returns: A minimum 35% restocking fee will apply for returns from residential locations.

Special & Customized Orders

  • Non-Returnable: Special order, cut-to-order, and customized items cannot be returned.
  • Manufacturer Returns: For direct manufacturer returns, contact sales@nresonline.com to discuss alternative arrangements. Any return fees or policies from the manufacturer will also apply.

Important Notes

  1. Inspection Upon Delivery: Always inspect packages for visible or hidden damage before signing the delivery receipt. Mark “POTENTIAL HIDDEN DAMAGE” if unsure.
  2. Damaged Items: For visible damage, refuse the shipment or note the damage on the bill of lading and contact customer service immediately.
  3. Refunds: Authorized returns will be inspected upon receipt. Refunds will be processed within 45 days if items are unused, undamaged, and in resale condition.

Warranty Information

  • Manufacturer’s Warranty: Applies to new items as specified by the manufacturer (ranges from 30 days to 5 years).
  • Exclusions: Standard wear-and-tear items (e.g., door gaskets, bulbs) and issues caused by improper installation or maintenance are not covered.
  • Used Items: No warranty or returns on used equipment.

Expedited Returns & Processing

Expedited shipping for returns is available for an additional fee. While NRESonline.com will work to process expedited returns quickly, delays caused by the manufacturer or carrier are beyond our control.
